- 2 eggs
- 3 cups sugar
- 3 cups flour
- 50 grams melted butter
- 1 cup almonds, sliced or chopped
No, there should not be any baking powder in......
- Preheat the oven to 225 degrees.
- Grease and sprinkle with crumbs a form which is approximately 22 cm in diameter.
- Mix together the melted butter, eggs, sugar and flour in a bowl.
- It should not be whipped, just moved so that all is well mixed.
- Spread the batter into a baking pan / springform and bake for about 5 minutes while you chop the almonds.
- Sprinkle the sliced almonds or almond cake and bake in middle of oven for about 10 - 15 minutes until the cake has a nice golden color.
- You can also sprinkle a little powdered sugar over before serving.
